Understanding DARE-RC
DARE-RC’s vision is to positively impact Pakistan’s education system through the development of high-quality research and its policy uptake. By strengthening research capacity, generating accessible evidence, and fostering collaboration, DARE-RC aims to equip policymakers with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions, ultimately leading to improved learning outcomes for all children, particularly marginalised groups. This will involve developing a targeted research agenda, producing rigorous and relevant studies, and actively engaging policymakers to bridge the gap between research and action. Ultimately, DARE-RC aims to catalyse an education system driven by evidence, equity, and inclusivity.
Our Approach
Our Strategy for Educational Reform
DARE-RC adopts a rigorous approach to research, employing meticulous problem identification and operations research to formulate and evaluate effective solutions. Research outcomes are intended for public dissemination, serving as a valuable resource for government officials and education implementers. Emphasis is placed on academic rigour and accessibility, ensuring research outputs are not only pertinent to non-academic audiences but also actively involve them in the research process through collaborative agenda creation and stakeholder engagement. By diligently building strong relationships with government and policy actors, DARE-RC fosters a comprehensive and trustworthy research intervention, paving the way for a transformed education system in Pakistan.
