This webinar highlights an example of engaged, responsive research that evolves alongside policy implementation and classroom realities. Drawing on fieldwork with teachers, school leaders, and experts, the study goes beyond documenting reform to actively responding to gaps identified during implementation of Student Learning Outcomes–based curricula and assessments. A key feature discussed in the webinar is the co-development of a practical teaching resource, designed to support teachers struggling to translate SLO policy into everyday practice. The session reflects on how iterative engagement with stakeholders shaped the research design, findings, and outputs, demonstrating how research can remain analytically rigorous while directly informing teaching and learning support.
