This webinar will present key findings from five DARE-RC studies focused on advancing disability-inclusive education in Pakistan, highlighting how evidence-based and contextually grounded approaches can improve access, participation, and learning outcomes for children with disabilities. Drawing on research conducted across multiple provinces, the session will explore childrenβs experiences in mainstream schools, the role of families and communities, and the potential of assistive technologiesβsuch as Pakistan Sign Language toolsβto bridge critical learning gaps. It will also examine how resilient and climate-responsive education systems intersect with inclusion, and the importance of strengthening disability-disaggregated data through initiatives such as the integration of the Washington Group Questions into the Annual School Census. Bringing together national research, international perspective, and lived experience, the webinar will highlight practical, scalable policy solutions to support more inclusive and equitable education systems in Pakistan.
